Ways to Mitigate Job Misery

Since we’re still working to get the hang of this here, I’ve created a second page to house all the posts created that are about finding ways to deal with working at a job that one can’t stand and/or is waiting to ditch for a better one.  Hopefully, this works.

Let’s face it: in this difficult economic climate, more people are working jobs they can’t stand/hate than there should be.  There have been many articles written which talk about the stress and psychological ills one can suffer from by feeling forced to work somewhere they’d rather not be, or settling into a unfulfilled job because of the security or pay it offers.  I could wax poetic about pursuing your dreams or looking for a better job, but again, there are articles and websites dedicated to inspire people to do those things.  What I’m here to discuss is how to help you manage “in the meantime”.

So you don’t like your job.  You work with others that feel the same way.  You could all wallow in your collective misery then bitch about it after work at the bar, but why wait til after quitting time to let off steam when you can turn a negative into a positive?  Follow the links below to learn about a few “activities” I created over the years and how you could carry out such tomfoolery (didn’t see that word coming, did ya?) into your cubicle and enjoy your job a little more.  Besides, if your company officials aren’t doing anything to boost the morale of yourself and others, why not take it upon yourself in a relatively safe manner?

HOLD ON! BEFORE YOU CLICK THE FOLLOWING LINKS, READ THESE RULES TO REDUCE POTENTIAL DRAMA (LIKE GETTING FIRED) WHILE RUNNING THESE SPOOF EVENTS.

…Did you read the Rules?

…OK  then, let’s proceed.  Click each event for its instructions for implementation.  Good luck, and enjoy.
